Yours is such a cool story Erin. I love thst you have dedicated yourself to finding ways to give; such a worthy pursuit. The act of giving is one lifes blessings, but without actual connection it can be transactional. Its awesome that you have really dug into the dynamics of giving to try and find the best methods for both giver and recipient. As a lifes work, it is a great legacy. 🙏

Thanks, JJ. It is a gift to even be in a position to give. Although there are so many was to give besides money. It is an ongoing journey for me.

My main goal now is to give in a way that is respectful for the individual, organization, and community.

Sometimes it’s just pencils and paper that make the difference. Amazing Erin.

Truly. That’s one of the biggest lessons in philanthropy—give what communities need, not what you want.

Note 2: I did publish Adventure Philanthropist, chronicling that 2-year trip around the world. On the book's 10 year anniversary, I revisited some of the stories and changed the title to Adventures of a Nomad: 30 Inspirational Stories. https://yournomadlife.kit.com/products/adventures-of-a-nomad-30-stories
