1) What are the advantages of being part of a nomad community? Being part of a nomad community is not only a great way to combat loneliness while traveling, but also fulfills a human basic need to ‘belong’. Being surrounded by like-minded people, you don’t have to explain your lifestyle, and it’s a great way to experience new perspectives, (business) connections, and resources you won’t get if you fly solo.
2) Any tips on making friends / connecting with folks on the road? Dancing Salsa or Bachata is a great way to find a digital nomad community! Dancing is a universal language and dance socials happen all around the world, especially in destinations where digital nomads gather. 🦋
